It's Annual Fund time!
Help us raise $40,000 by Nov. 10 for George Watts Elementary!
Our fall PTA Annual Fund Drive is our biggest fundraiser of the year for George Watts... and this year, our goal is to raise $40,000 by November 10!
Our goal this year is significantly larger than last year! Why? Watts is growing! Our student body has grown from about 350 to nearly 400, and Backpack Buddies went from sending home about 20 bags of weekend food a week to around 65 by the end of last year... and this year, we're expecting to grow to between 80-100 bags a week by the end of the school year.
Your support of the PTA will make possible crucial "extras" that DPS can't cover but mean so much to our school community — like Backpack Buddies (take home food bags for students facing food insecurity), teacher professional development, classroom supplies and technology, staff appreciation, field trips, and more!
If we hit $40,000 by Nov. 10, students get to paint their teachers' faces at Movie Night on Nov. 10. :)
