All residents, regardless of risk status, are encouraged to be mindful when leaving the home and to practice the 3 Ws: Wear, Wait, Wash to reduce COVID-19 spread.

  • Wear a face covering if you will be with other people. (Please note: The CDC advises that face coverings should not be placed on children under age 2, anyone who has trouble breathing, or is unconscious, incapacitated, or otherwise unable to remove the mask without assistance.)

  • Wait 6 feet apart. Avoid close contact.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds or use hand sanitizer.

These actions can protect ourselves, our families, and our community as North Carolina takes a cautious step forward to ease restrictions while the virus is still circulating.
